If you’re a lifelong bunhead or are wanting to try something new and start ballet in college, consider joining the Yale Undergraduate Ballet Company! Founded in 2011 buy Amymarie Bartholomew ’13, YUBC has evolved into a premier student group that is dedicated to the art of ballet and staging narrative works. With members from both Yale College and Yale graduate schools, YUBC holds weekly classes and sets up fun social events involving ballet and friends (What could be better?). The company performs a full-length ballet every spring at the Co-Op Theater in New Haven. This year, we’ve added a fall-term show for dancers to perform famous ballet variations. Check out our Productions page to see our recent and past projects!
If you crave the chance refine your technique, engage with the dance community at Yale, and perform in a large-scale production, then this company is for you!
